Your Customers and Data

When you add a customer to Averflow, their information is used to provide the reminders and services you schedule through the platform. Averflow does not sell, rent, or share your customer list with other businesses or use your customers' information for Averflow's own marketing.

You retain control of your business information and customer information. You can export or delete your data from your account where those features are available.

What Averflow Does

Averflow is a SaaS platform that helps businesses send automated, non-promotional, service-related text and email reminders to their own customers.

Businesses can add their customers after obtaining their consent for SMS messaging, select from Averflow's predefined service-reminder templates, and schedule reminders.

Averflow provides the software and messaging infrastructure.

Averflow's SMS templates are limited to non-promotional, service-related communications such as appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, appointment cancellations, and service reminders.

SMS Messaging and Consent

Before SMS reminders can be sent, the business must have a relationship with the customer and obtain permission for service-related text messages.

Businesses may not upload purchased, rented, scraped, or otherwise unauthorized phone numbers for SMS messaging.

The business is responsible for providing accurate customer information and maintaining the appropriate customer relationship and consent.

Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages and HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies.

No Marketing or Promotional SMS

Averflow's SMS service is limited to non-promotional, service-related communications. Marketing, advertising, promotional offers, and unsolicited SMS messages are not permitted.

Your Account

Keep your login credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact support@averflow.co if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

Acceptable Use

You must use Averflow lawfully and responsibly. You may not use Averflow to send spam, deceptive, harassing, fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized messages. You may not upload contacts without the appropriate permission to contact them.

You may not attempt to disrupt, abuse, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Averflow.

Security and Encryption

Averflow uses industry-standard security measures, including TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest through its hosting providers. Customer accounts are logically separated, and access to information is restricted to what is required to operate and support the service.

No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Free Trial, Pricing and Billing

New accounts may begin with a free trial. Applicable pricing and included features are shown before a subscription is started. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription through your account. Refunds are handled according to the applicable Refund Policy.

Service Availability

Averflow works to maintain reliable service, but messages may occasionally be delayed or fail because of maintenance, carrier issues, provider outages, or other circumstances outside Averflow's control.

Limitation of Liability

Averflow is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Averflow is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. To the extent permitted by law, Averflow’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid Averflow during the previous twelve months.

Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel or delete your account at any time. Averflow may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the messaging service, send unauthorized or prohibited messages, or violate applicable laws or regulations.

Changes to These Terms

Averflow may update these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of Averflow after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
