The customer information you add to Averflow is used to provide the services you request, including scheduled reminders and customer communications. Your customers' information is kept separate from other businesses using Averflow, protected with security measures, and can be deleted when you choose.
Your Customer List Stays Yours
Your customer information remains under your control. You can access, manage, export, or delete customer information through your account where those features are available.
We Never Sell Your Customer Data
We do not sell, rent, or provide your customer list to other businesses or third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your Customers Stay Protected
Customer information is protected using encryption in transit and at rest, and customer data is separated between businesses using Averflow.
Delete Your Data
You can delete customers, reminders, or your account through the available account controls.
What Averflow Does
Averflow is a SaaS platform that helps businesses send automated, non-promotional, service-related text and email reminders to their own customers.
Businesses can add customers after obtaining SMS consent, select from Averflow's predefined service-reminder templates, and schedule reminders.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide to use Averflow, including your name, business name, business contact information, email address, account credentials, customer information, and reminder information.
Customer information may include names, phone numbers, email addresses, service or vehicle details, and information needed to provide the reminder services.
We also collect technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, such as delivery results, error logs, and basic account activity.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide and operate Averflow, including:
- Sending the reminders you schedule.
- Processing customer SMS opt-out and opt-in requests.
- Processing booking or service requests sent to your business.
- Providing customer support.
- Processing payments.
- Maintaining security and preventing abuse.
- Monitoring and improving the reliability of the platform.
We do not sell your customer information or use your customer list for Averflow's own marketing.
SMS Consent Information
Businesses are responsible for obtaining the required permission from customers before using Averflow to send SMS messages.
Averflow maintains SMS opt-out information so that customers who have opted out are not sent further SMS reminders unless they subsequently opt back in.
We do not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in information or phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your Customers' Data
The customer information you add to Averflow is provided by you or on your behalf so that we can provide the service.
Averflow processes this information to store customer records, manage opt-outs, and send the reminders you schedule.
You are responsible for having the appropriate relationship and permission to contact the customers you add.
How Customers Opt Out
Customers can control the messages they receive.
For SMS messages, recipients can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. Averflow processes opt-out requests and prevents further SMS reminders from being sent to opted-out numbers.
For email reminders, recipients can use the unsubscribe link provided in the email.
SMS and email preferences are handled separately.
How We Protect Information
Averflow uses industry-standard security measures to protect information.
Traffic to Averflow is encrypted using TLS, and data is stored encrypted at rest through our hosting providers. Accounts are logically separated so one business cannot access another business's customer information.
Passwords are securely hashed and internal access to information is limited to what is necessary to operate and support the service.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information entrusted to us.
Service Providers
Averflow uses trusted service providers to host the platform, deliver SMS and email messages, process payments, and provide other services necessary to operate Averflow.
These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to provide their services and are expected to protect that information.
Payment card information is handled by our payment processor. Averflow does not store full payment card numbers.
Cookies and Analytics
Averflow uses essential cookies needed for account functionality and may use limited analytics to understand how the service is used and improve the platform.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account and customer information while it is needed to provide the service or while your account remains active.
You may delete customer information, reminders, or your account using available account controls.
Some information may be retained for a limited period when required for legal, billing, security, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate business purposes.
Your Rights and Choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete information through your account where those features are available.

Customers can opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP or opt out of email reminders using the unsubscribe link.
Children
Averflow is a business service and is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Averflow develops. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
