What Averflow Does
Averflow helps businesses send automated text and email reminders to their customers. To do that, you may add customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, service or vehicle details, and reminder notes to your account.
Information We Collect
We collect what you give us: your name, business name, address and phone number, your email and password (stored hashed, never in plain text), the customer details you add, and the reminders you schedule. We also collect basic technical and usage data — such as delivery results and error logs — needed to run, secure, and improve the service.
How We Use Information
We use your information only to deliver the service: sending the reminders you schedule, routing booking requests to you, processing payments, providing support, and keeping the platform secure and reliable. We do not sell personal information, we do not rent or share your customer list, and we never message your customers for our own marketing.
Your Customers' Data
The customer information you upload belongs to you. We act as a processor on your behalf — we store it, send the messages you schedule, and nothing more. You are responsible for having permission to contact those customers, and we automatically honour every STOP text and email unsubscribe so opted-out contacts are never messaged again.
How We Protect It
All traffic to Averflow is encrypted with industry-standard TLS, and data is stored encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. Every account is isolated with database-level row security, so one business can never read another business's data. Passwords are hashed, sign-in is protected against repeated failed attempts, and internal access is limited to what is required to operate and support the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we treat your data as sensitive and protect it accordingly.
Service Providers
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to host the platform, deliver texts and emails, and process payments. They may only process data as needed to perform those services, are bound to protect it, and never receive your data for their own marketing. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor — Averflow never stores your card number.
Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, plus limited analytics to understand how the site is used. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual customers, reminders, or your entire account from inside the app, and deleted account data is removed from our live systems, with limited records kept only where required for legal, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Your Rights and Choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your information directly in your account. You can also ask us to do it for you — email us and we will action reasonable requests promptly. Your customers can opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP or using the unsubscribe link.
Children
Averflow is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
